The Uttarakhand Association of New Zealand celebrated commemoration of 10 years of the organisation on Saturday 15th July at Auckland War Memorial Hall. President of the organisation Chetan Joshi said his community is delighted to announce the successful completion of 10 years of dedicated community service

Keep the potatoes for boiling start the curry tomato cream sauce. In a large heavy bottomed pot add the onion, canned tomatoes and their juices, cashews, garlic, ginger, garam masala, turmeric, fenugreek leaves and salt. Biased western media’s anti-India tirade with the support of some rouge members of this anti-India nexus continues unabated in several western countries including in New Zealand. These are the forces who can’t see India emerging as a leading world power. Its an open secret now that some world powers don’t want to see India’s resurgence as the fastest growing economic power in the world. This anti-India gang includes the so-called world superpowers and India’s arch enemy countries. There is a close nit nexus of anti-India nations, left wing forces, missionaries, and many separatist forces who are supported by the establishments of these countries. These attacks on India have grown many folds since Modi government came into power at centre in 2014.

National Party leader Christopher Luxon says improved and better relations with the world’s fastest emerging economy, India will be a priority of his government if elected to power on 14th October this year. Luxon was critical of Labour government of its lacklustre attitude towards the relation between two countries. He said it’s a shame that Labour government has put the most important Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between two countries on back burner. Christopher Luxton said if elected to power in elections this year, it will be priority of his government to secure the strategic FTA deal with India.
