Hindu Elders Foundation NZ has proposed to organise Auckland Faag Mahotsav 2021 jointly along with other leading organisations operated by Bharatiya (Indian) diaspora and some neighbouring countries of India.

In this regard, the first joint meeting was held at Mahatma Gandhi Centre on 8th February.

The agenda of the meeting was to share and invite various organisations’ valuable input to plan this unique event, Auckland Faag Mahotsav 2021 and be proud of our diverse culture.

Subsequently, meetings were held on 11th & 19th February where in more than 40 organisations registered their interest in joining the organisation and conducting this event.

During these meetings, a joint committee of leading organisations was formed which finalised to hold Mahotsav on 5th April at the Mahatma Gandhi Centre.

On behalf of the Convener, Auckland Faag Mahotsav and Committee Members, its Joint Secretary Mr Jyoti Swaroop Dua extends a warm welcome and invitation to all organisations to join in this effort and make the event a huge success. -TIN Bureau
