On Friday, 18th June 2021, Bhartiya Samaj Charitable Trust in collaboration with Unichem Pharmacy and Woman Care Trust, initiated the COVID-19 vaccination drive for its Senior Citizens.

Many Seniors and their family members received their first jab with utmost care and all safety precautions were observed while administering the vaccines. We are incredibly grateful to Vicky Chan from Unichem Pharmacy for giving an opportunity to Bhartiya Samaj Senior members to avail the jabs without any hassle of waiting for their turns. The Pharmacy left no stone unturned to make them feel secured and relaxed during the vaccination procedure and combating the anxiety to get the COVID-19 Vaccine.

A special appreciation to Woman Care Trust for facilitating FREE transport service for the Seniors to Pakuranga Vaccination Centre, 4 complete trips were organised to accommodate all members who required transport facility.

BSCT would like to acknowledge the active participation from our Senior members for making this initiative a success and we again humbly thank Unichem and Woman Care Trust’s diligent joint effort to ensure a smooth-running program. -TIN Bureau
