Prime Minister of New Zealand Rt Hon Christopher Luxon officially opened the new manufacturing facility of Nauhria Precast Ltd at Hunua Road in Papakura on Thursday 26th September. The opening ceremony was witnessed by an impressive gathering of over 200 people including Parliamentary dignitaries, Developers and key industry people from throughout the design and construction industry that have helped build Nauhria to the successful company that it has become today.
With a commitment to continuous improvement, upskilling, training and ongoing personal development of their Staff, Nauhria Groups precast business has grown exponentially to become the largest and best precast manufacturer in New Zealand.
Their dynamic growth bolstered by a strong construction market saw manufacturing throughput at their existing Wiri based facilities constrained having reached maximum production capacity.
For Nauhria Groups Managing Director Roshan Nauhria and Group CEO Rakesh Nauhria, key indicators presented both an opportunity and the confidence to pursue the investment and construction of a new, larger, purpose-built facility.
Located nearby in Papakura, South Auckland, Nauhria’s new 12,000 m2 factory easily accommodates all types of projects including Commercial, Residential, Education, Healthcare and Infrastructure, and can confidently service the construction industries toughest and largest project demands.
Their fully internal operation provides production continuity year-round achieving the highest standard of quality.
Fully equipped, this impressive resource also saw the introduction of advanced precast technology, extending Nauhria’s product range with new features and options to substantially benefit both constructors and building owners alike.
Nauhria’s new building exemplifies environmental responsibility through engineered features in its design including harvesting of rainwater and natural light, recycling, smart low energy management, and Low Carbon building materials. Construction included protection and cleaning up of adjacent waterways and new development of landscaped open spaces.
Prime Minister Luxon commended Roshan Nauhria and his son Rakesh for their vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and perseverance in excelling in their field.
