Situations are changing at a very rapid pace in the political and social framework in India these days. No one can guess or anticipate what may change the next minute and how a certain section of our population will react. Vested interests are trying hard to create chaos at any opportunity. Political parties small or big, gang up against Modi government for anything this government does even if that makes the opposition parties go against the nation. On being confronted about their opposition stance on every issue, these parties unabashedly postulate that opposing the government on every issue is their democratic right. It doesn’t matter to them if their anti-government stance goes against the national interests. This is a very dangerous state of affairs and Indian government needs to be very mindful dealing with this situation.

According to recent UN population reports, India has crossed China to become the most populous country in the world. This is not a great news to be proud of since the over burden of such a large population fails any government in all its welfare and development endeavours. With the same amount of limited natural resources and geographical boundaries, India’s population has exploded over 4 times since independence. It will be an unreal expectation from any government to take care of such a large population where the democratic freedom gets abused at the drop of a hat. It’s a country where opposition parties gang up in support of a dreaded gangster and mafia when law takes its course. This show of strength is done by all the opposition parties in India just to appease a certain section of population to secure their votes. It’s a shameful act of these corrupt political leaders but they have been doing it unabashedly since the independence. India’s eternal enemy countries Pakistan and China are always ready to take advantage of these situations and provide support to such fringe elements financially and logistically. Lately some western countries like USA, Canada, United Kingdom, and Germany have joined these forces as they have their own vested agenda to stop India from rising expeditiously to become a world power.

  • With so much of negativity around, if we have a weak link at home that is always ready to join hands with any such forces, makes them even more dangerous than our external enemies. The government needs to deal with these elements with an iron hand without showing any laxity or mercy. These elements have stoop to a level now that they gang up even against the government when a dreaded criminal with countless crime on his head, is killed in a gang war. Since these parties can’t find any valid ground against the BJP ruled states or the Modi government so now, they resort to the routine law and order matters to speak against the government. Most of these opposition parties are neck deep in corruption and all sort of illegal activities hence to save their skin they find their best defence in just keep attacking government. We know ever since Modi government came into power it has secured the country from any external threats, but the same government has failed to tackle internal enemies. If such people do not understand the language of constitution and rule of law, then they need to be dealt with an iron boot.

Though the Lok Sabha elections are still a year away, but all parties have swung into action from now and the political atmosphere is only going to get murkier with every passing day. The government at the centre needs to ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of common man, whatever price it comes for. IMF recently said that India is the only bright spot in an otherwise gloomy world economic scenario, and this statement will not go down well with many of India’s arch-rival countries. So, the government must keep eye on both internal and external enemies of the country without showing any laxity until at least next Lok Sabha election in April-May 2024.-Yugal Parashar
