The Indian Consulate since it’s opening on 5th September 24 has delivered about 3000 new passports, 3600 PCCs, 1100 Surrender and 3000 Miscellaneous services applications. The office is a new set up and still working from a temporary office on 13th Floor of SAP Building,151, Queen Street.

It has been observed that some applicants are complaining on the lack of prompt service and behaviour of the Consulate staffs. It is reiterated that while the consulate is here to assist Indians and Indian origin people for their requirements, it is unfortunate that more than forty percentage of applications (received by courier) are incomplete not only for one document but sometimes more. Payments for the applications are being done to High Commission of India, Wellington whereas physical applications are being sent to the Consulate in Auckland and later requesting to adjust such kind of fees with their application submitted at the Indian Consulate in Auckland.dr madan mohan01
