Renowned singer, author, and motivational speaker Shriram Iyer, who resides in Melbourne, is set to host two major events in Auckland this year. These events, aimed at celebrating culture and leadership while supporting community causes, are generating significant buzz among New Zealand’s Indian community.
One of the events, a charity fundraiser, will contribute proceeds to the upcoming Sri Venkateshwara Temple in Ramarama, Auckland.
The first event, “The Siyer Experience”, is a high-energy Bollywood musical show scheduled for Saturday, 10th May 2025. It will take place at the Dorothy Winstone Auditorium, a venue with an 800-seat capacity.
This show doubles as a charity event to raise funds for the construction of the Sri Venkateshwara Devasthanam Temple. The proceeds from ticket sales, after deducting expenses, will be donated entirely to the temple project. The organizers aim to cover all event costs through sponsorships to maximize the charitable contribution.
“The goal is to ensure that every dollar raised from ticket sales goes directly towards building the temple,” said a representative of the organizing team.
Preparations are well underway, and several sponsors have already pledged their support. The team continues to seek additional sponsors to cover remaining costs. With its mix of entertainment and community service, The Siyer Experience promises to be an unforgettable evening for attendees.
The second event, titled “The Indian Way of Leadership”, will be held on Sunday, 16th February 2025 at the MIT Manukau Theatre, which seats 250 people. This event is free and is designed to inspire professionals by highlighting leadership principles rooted in Indian culture and their relevance in today’s business world.
Invitations will be sent to prominent business leaders, senior managers, and professionals across Auckland. Shriram will draw on his vast experience as a motivational speaker to share actionable insights and practical strategies for leadership.
This thought-provoking session is expected to attract a diverse audience eager to explore innovative approaches to leadership and management.
