On Saturday, 3rd May, Disha had the joy of hosting a truly memorable Special Day with our beloved seniors at Balmoral Community Hall. The event was a beautiful blend of fun, connection, and appreciation – all dedicated to celebrating the wisdom and warmth of our elders.
DISHA NZ extends a heartfelt thanks to Sunny Malhotra and his wonderful team for their thoughtful planning, warm hospitality, and generous efforts that made the day so special. From the beautifully arranged program to the smallest details, everything was curated with love and care for our seniors.

The day was packed with joyful activities – soulful singing, a fun-filled game of Housie, and of course lots of delicious food that brought everyone together. To add to the excitement, surprise prizes were given

to the winners, bringing extra smiles and cheers to the room.
One of the senior participants shared, “I haven’t laughed this much in a long time. It felt like being with family – so much warmth, joy, and respect. Thank you, Disha, for such a beautiful day.”
Another added, “We often feel forgotten, but today we felt seen, heard, and celebrated. This kind of love and attention means the world to us.”
The room came alive with laughter, music, and meaningful conversations – a true reflection of the community spirit DISHA NZ stands for.
