As we prepare to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights symbolizing the triumph of good over evil, we find ourselves in a world grappling with modern-day demons that threaten to consume humanity. The forces of destruction loom large, ready to unleash chaos and create mayhem if their desires are not met. Global conflicts are escalating, and it feels we are on the brink of catastrophe. It is crucial for us to take a step back and assess the reality of the situation around us before it’s too late.Innocent civilians, including women and children, always bear the brunt of these ongoing conflicts. The relentless wars between Russia and Ukraine, Israel and Hamas, and now involving Iran, have already claimed tens of thousands of lives. The violence and bloodshed have left the world weary. The current situation is so volatile that even a minor spark could ignite widespread devastation. In India, too, the atmosphere is far from peaceful, as power-hungry factions work tirelessly to undermine the country’s stability. The nation is at a crossroads, teetering on the edge of disaster.
Indian politics has sunk to new lows, with national interests taking a backseat to personal agendas. Greedy politicians, driven by a lust for power, have become divisive forces, exploiting religion, caste, and creed to tear the nation apart. The country is in a precarious state, and no government or leader seems capable of halting its decline. Unfortunately, India’s oldest political party is adding fuel to the fire, seeking to divide the country to satisfy its own lust for power.Government had confirmed intelligence inputs that if the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party had lost the Haryana state elections, the consequences would have been catastrophic for the nation. Allegations have surfaced that the opposition had conspired with anti-India elements, intending to destabilize the country by seizing Delhi and overthrowing the Modi government. However, the people of Haryana saved the nation from this disaster by voting BJP back to power for a third consecutive term. This election outcome thwarted the opposition’s plans, which included using fake farmer protests at the Punjab-Haryana border to infiltrate Delhi and create chaos.
India seems to be a country blessed with divine intervention, where miraculous events often save it from destruction. Despite the challenges, supernatural forces, as some believe, continue to protect the country from the brink of collapse. However, this narrow escape does not mean that the threat is over. Anti-India forces are constantly regrouping, preparing new strategies to achieve their goals if their original plans fail.
India has long been regarded as a land of Gods and Avatars, and it remains the world’s oldest surviving civilization for a reason. The stories of divine reincarnation, of Gods appearing in human form to save the country, seem more relevant than ever. Today’s challenges may differ in form, but they echo the timeless battles between good and evil depicted in ancient epics like the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. Throughout history, evil forces have been defeated, no matter how powerful they appeared. The current global and national turmoil may seem overwhelming, but India has a leadership determined to protect the nation’s interests. As we light our lamps this Diwali, it’s essential to remember the symbolic meaning of the festival—the victory of light over darkness, of good over evil. We should pray for the continued defeat of the destructive forces that threaten our world, just as they have been vanquished throughout history. In India’s case, the people must trust in the leadership that has steered the country to unprecedented progress over the past decade. The nation’s trajectory is only beginning, and it is crucial to maintain this momentum to ensure that good triumphs once more over the malevolent powers that seek to divide and destroy.
This Diwali, is a time to hope for the defeat of evil, both within India and beyond. May the light of Diwali guide us towards a future where peace and truth prevail over conflict and falsehood. The stakes have never been higher, but with faith, unity, and strong leadership, India and the world can overcome these dark times. -Yugal Parashar
