The people of India were stunned by a shocking revelation last week which came as a bolt out of the blue that Prasadam laddus (sweet offering) made at Sri Venkateswara Mandir at Tirupati were being made with adulterated ghee during the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Reddy’s rule. This was confirmed in a lab test report of National Dairy Development Board which only came to light after regime change in the state. In a shocking statement, the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh claimed that lab test report findings have confirmed that traces of beef tallow, fish oil, and palm oil were found in the ghee used to make the laddus distributed to devotees.
It is deeply repugnant and criminal act of anti-Hindu forces who have been quietly yet persistently plotting against all things Hindu since independence. This is a tragedy for the nation that in 1947, India was divided along religious lines. While the separated part became an Islamic state, India was forcibly declared a secular nation using fraudulent means. India’s late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi changed the Constitution unilaterally and added word ‘secular’ to it while the country was under emergency rule, unlawfully imposed by her.

The party that has ruled the country for the most time since independence did everything against majority Hindus under their rule by making draconian laws to curb all the freedom of practising Hindus religious beliefs. Even the control of Hindu temples was taken over by government while all other religions have liberty to practice their religion freely. Even today, when India has a government for last ten year which is believed to be pro-Hindu, is constrained by a web of these draconian laws imposed by successive Congress governments.
The first recorded instance of animal fat sparked a mutiny against the British colonial rule in 1857 which later escalated into a nationwide revolution. Yet this incident of the gravest and the most heinous nature has failed to create a similar uproar. A well-coordinated nexus of anti-Hindu forces is working in perpetuity for several decades which has its presence across the globe. It’s not easy for any government to take on to these forces until there is an awakening in society and the community gets together to fight it out. It’s deeply troubling to see that today’s Hindu often turn a blind eye even to something as sinister and heinous as the adulteration of animal fat in the ghee used to make prasad. Tirupati Mandir is among the most sacred and revered holy places for Hindus and yet most Hindus have taken this news in stride. There is a section of Hindus only who are deeply concerned about these constant attacks on Hindu beliefs by anti-Hindu forces. What is more dangerous is that most opposition parties of India led by Congress party are either silent on this issue or shamelessly defending the culprits. Even the top court of the country that every now and then takes suo motto cognizance of the least important issues, has maintained silence on such a criminal act.

This incident of treachery at one of the most sacred places of Hindu faith has shaken the trust of millions of devotees’ world over and it’s time for the central government to step in to restore confidence of people. During Jagan Reddy’s rule a large number of Christians were appointed into Mandir management board as part of a larger conspiracy. The former CM himself is a Christian and there are thousands of black sheep like him who delude people with their Hindu names. The ultimate objective of these traitors is to harm sacred Hindu places, to desecrate the sanctity and purity with the intent of ultimately destroying it.

What surprises the most is that even an incident of this scale has not stirred the entire Hindu community; it’s only a specific section of people who are voicing their outrage. Hopefully, Hindus will awaken from this deep slumber and recognize the looming danger. If the Hindu community doesn’t act now, they may never have the chance to. May God protect the Hindus of the world.
