Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday, directed the officials to make all the facilities normal in the disaster-affected areas of the state, a press release stated.

CM Dhami said that secretaries, department heads, and all-level reconstruction work should be reviewed regularly.
Physical verification of the works that have been completed should be done. The roads that are currently closed should also be finished as soon as possible, he said.
The Chief Minister further directed that it should be ensured that the general public does not face any kind of problem, and for this, the related works can be resolved with the cooperation of all the departments.
He said that the damage in the disaster-affected area should be assessed and done as per the standards. All the monuments should work towards making their prototypes ideal districts. The tribals whom people have to meet, the business process should also be done soon, the release added.
The Chief Minister directed the district nominees to regularly inspect the various monuments of the districts. He also directed the officials to ensure socialist arrangements to get rid of water-borne diseases after the rainy season.
He also directed the Health Department to conduct regular awareness campaigns to prevent water-borne diseases. Giving strict instructions to the officials, he said that there is no provision of any kind in the cleanliness system.
The Chief Minister further directed the officials to provide all the necessary facilities along with the sanitation system. He has instructed to take special care of internal cleanliness and sanitation in municipal corporations, municipalities and municipal corporations.
A total of Rs 427.87 crore has been provided for protection from natural disaster in the state in the financial year 2024-25, as per the pres release.
Out of this, Rs 386.87 crore has been released from the State Disaster Relief Fund, Rs 15 crore from the State Sector Non-Critical Fund and Rs 26 crore from the State Sector Non-Essential Real Estate.
A plan of Rs 95 crore is also being laid for the pre-establishment of the State Disaster Relief Fund and Disaster Relief Fund. For this, Rs 50 crore is being paid to the Public Works Department, Rs 15 crore to GPGY, Rs 20 crore to Principal Corporation and Rs 10 crore to UPCL.-ANI
