One of the most renowned Hindu preachers and spiritual leaders today, Bageshwar Dham Sarkar, states that he is traveling the world to awaken Hindus to Sanatan Dharma and unite them in staying connected with one another. Pandit Dhirendra Krishan Shastri aka Bageshwar Dham Sarkar was in New Zealand on a five-day visit and his presence stirred frenzy among his followers here. He met thousands of his followers and during his 5 days stay in Auckland and brought smile on the faces of many.
In an exclusive interview with The Indian News editor Yugal Parashar (the only publication he granted an interview to) Bageshwar Dham Peethadhishwar said the atrocities on Hindus are being committed across the globe because Hindus are not united. He said Hindus are divided in the name of cast, creed or regions hence they get weaken to face any atrocity on them. If Hindus stay united putting aside all their differences, then not only they will ensure their own safety and wellbeing, but it will help restore peace in the world. He said whenever he goes to any foreign country he tries to know that country and the issues people face there. He says our Sanatan Dharma and civilisation are very old, very rich and time tested, and the Hindu philosophy considers the whole world and entire humanity as one family. Hindu religion does not discriminate between people based on their faith or beliefs and treats everyone equal.
Pandit Dhirendra Shastri was all praise for most Hindus keeping their religious beliefs and traditions alive in a foreign country but showed his concern about the new generation slowly drifting from their roots. He said it’s the duty of the parents, families and Dharma Gurus to instil good moral values in young generation and help them stay connected to their roots.
Bageshwar Dham also spoke about a section of people in overseas who oppose Sanatan Dharma and spread disinformation about the most peaceful religion in the world. He said its all happening due to lack of knowledge and ignorance and that’s where we must come forward to put the facts right and demolish all fake narratives about Sanatan Dharma. He said the future of Santan Dharma is right (good) and very bright and only Santan Dharma can help restore peace in the world. Bageshwar Dham said he is pleased that the efforts he made during his foreign trips are now yielding good results and people now look forward to coming back to India more often than before. He said this is very good sign and he prays for India to prosper so much that no one has to leave the country due to financial reasons. Bageshwar Dham Sarkar wished all the Santanis of New Zealand a great future ahead and success in all their future endeavours. -as told to Yugal Parashar
