Addressing media persons, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said, “A detailed discussion was done with the three of the advisory groups that have been set up by the Ministry of Communications. Today we have a detailed discussion on it.”
Highlighting the details about the next meeting, Scindia stated, “Our next meeting is scheduled, the date depends on the preparation, in which we will go into a deep discussion of the initial two advisory groups (satellite advisory group & the telecom equipment advisory group) where we will delineate three aspects – Today where is India placed in that vertical? Where is it that we would like India to be placed in that vertical?”
Adding to it, he asserted, “If we agree on the plan, then what are the drivers we need to have in place to be able to deliver on that strategy, and from the drivers what are the actionable points both for the ministry as well as for the industry to be able to deliver on. These advisory groups have been formed with a very participatory environment where we are all team players towards a common goal – to make India “aatmanirbhar” and world leader in communication space, as espoused and envisioned by PM Modi…”
