Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a spiritual practice embraced by millions worldwide. Rooted in Buddhist tradition, it consists of two main components: self-improvement through studying teachings and performing gentle exercises and meditation. There is no membership, and it is free for anyone to learn.
Due to the challenging circumstances of not being able to practice Falun Dafa exercises outside or run group exercise sites, practitioners worldwide, starting in Australia, India, and North America, began teaching the exercises online. The goal was to help others feel calmer and stress-free and to learn about Falun Dafa, which has benefited 100 million people globally.
Many people who practice Falun Dafa have seen significant improvements in depression, anxiety, and various health issues. Those without health difficulties also find great value in the practice, feeling fulfillment, mental clarity, positivity, and energy.

Even though COVID lockdowns have ended, for many people living in remote areas, or who are unable to get to an in-person exercise site, learning Falun Dafa online remains very popular. To join the online classes and register, visit the LearnFalunGong.com website and select the session time you would like to join. The website should automatically show the times in your own time zone.
Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with the link to join, and a reminder as well. Setting an alarm on your phone and in your calendar can help ensure you don’t miss the session.
The volunteer host will explain the principles of Falun Dafa and show you how to do the five easy-to-learn exercises.
You can join the class as many times as you like. Additionally, there is the Falun Dafa 9-Day Lecture Series available online, which is one of the best ways to learn the fundamentals of Falun Dafa. We hope you can join the online class or the 9-day lectures to learn more about how the practice of Falun Dafa can help your life become calmer, more positive, and filled with newfound energy.
We have a few practice sites in Auckland. Every day from 10am – 12 pm, we do the exercises outside Chinese consulate: 580 Great South Rd, Penrose, and 10am – 12 pm in Aotea square in Auckland CBD every day.
