On a bright sunny but cold morning of Sunday 19 may over 500 bike enthusiasts gathered at Viaduct Harbour in Auckland CBD to commemorate the 11th version of The Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride in Auckland and in around 105 countries across the globe. This is a global Motorcycling event that combines style, motorcycles, and a commitment to men’s health. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, which happens in May ever year across 105 countries (and counting) unites classic and vintage style motorcycle riders to raise funds for Movember, supporting prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.
In New Zealand, every dollar raised helps fund crucial local initiatives, making every contribution, even as small as $1, significant.

Samar Sharma, an active member of our local community and an immigrant who has embraced new beginnings in New Zealand, participated with his Triumph Bonneville T120 Black DGR Limited Edition—the only one in New Zealand—to advocate for these vital causes.
Movember is dedicated to tackling some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention.
