One of the leading dental practices of Auckland, Pt Chevalier Family Dentist in Point Chevalier has come forward to help those in need, in the times of distress. As currently Auckland is under Level-4 lockdown from last couple of weeks and there are many people in the community having dental emergency, so Pt Chevalier Family Dentist decided to come for their rescue.
The director of the practice, Shivam Verma told The Indian News that due to lockdown, most people are confined to homes, and many have even lost income because of businesses being closed. So, he and his wife Dr Nikita verma decided to help those in need of urgent dental care. Shivam said, this way we have tried to help to those who needed free medical care, in our bid to ‘give back to community’. He further said we have run the Free help campaign for 7 days this time and will not refrain doing it again if its required.
Shivam informed that his clinic has been doing around $2000 worth of free treatment every day, treating the emergency cases on priority, and giving free prescriptions. The ‘free medical help’ offer was a big hit among people, and they had to work long hours to help people. Shivam further said that full precautions were taken while providing treatment to people following the guidelines of Level-4 lockdowns including using proper PPE gears. -TIN Bureau
