This journey is all about yummy food Bake & Beans, a Cheetal Foods Limited company, has been serving authentic ethnic confectionary for over a decade now. Initially based only at Dominion Road in Mt Roskill, it now has four branches across Auckland and has growing list of faithful customers.
The owner of Bake & Beans Shally Rana is really proud of his journey where he struggled for several years before embarking on this unique project.
“At the time when we started, there weren’t any Indian bakery that would use healthy ingredients to make typical Indian bakery products or fusion food items. The novelty gave us popularity and since then we have worked hard to maintain the quality and our Unique Selling Proposition (USP),” Rana said.
Every item sold at Bake & Beans is made at our own facility. All of the items made and sold at the retail stores are free of animal fat and gelatine, which are also considered Halal.

Rana ensures that Bake & Beans conforms not only to high standards of hygiene and quality but also reasonable pricing. Our strength lies in their dedication to innovate with food and maintain excellent quality.
“We ensure that our products meet the expectation of customers. We constantly add to our range, based on market demand. One of the benefits of having our own production facility and retail outlets is that we can change our range to the evolving tastes,” Rana said.

One of the reviews on Zomato reads, “This place reminds me so much of Indian confectionaries. Love their pies especially the tandoori chicken pie. Mutton samosa is a big hit too. Loved the mini butter chicken pies. Tried their pastries cassata, caramel and chocolate pastries. So much to choose from this place. They also serve masala chai.” There you have almost the entire menu. Get yourself a pie.
Wide range of variety
Variety is what defines Bake & Beans. It has an extensive range of breads, biscuits, cakes puffs, rolls, and pies. Rana mentioned that Bake & Beans is continuously working to expand the number of vegetarian items in response to the market demand.
