DISHA NZ is a newly established community organisation started in April 2022 with an aim to support and cater to diverse communities through various educational and informational programmes and services.

DISHA NZ Charitable Trust is a non-profit charity organisation which is supported by New Zealand’s oldest purpose-built Hindu temple, Bharatiya Mandir. Approx. 100 to 120 people attend the Wednesday day programmes which consist of exercise, games, entertainment, quizzes, and educational sessions for providing holistic wellbeing to the participants. Major upgrades to rail lines across Auckland will pave the way for more frequent commuter trains when the City Rail link opens and will help future-proof the rail network for decades to come.

The $330 million Rail Network Rebuild will see sections of rail lines across the city temporarily closed over the coming years, so that the rock foundations under the tracks can be removed and rebuilt.
