A very large number of concerned and patriotic Indians have always whined and complained about western media’s general bias against India especially since past 8-10 years. The media reporting’s in western world have always tried to show our country in the poor light and their reporting have always been full of distorted facts, fake narratives, and blatant lies about India to create a confusion among people across the globe.

Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!

Even though the British colonisers were forced to leave India in 1947 by the revolutionaries of that time, but the colonial mindset still exist, and they do not appear to come out of that hangover. The British media giant BBC is a prime example of this. Since its inception, BBC has always been reporting India in negative light, always supporting anti-India forces, and always propagating India’s enemies only. They do it with a purpose to show the world that despite of their looting India of more 45 trillion pounds during their rule, they still were a better government to rule India then its current leadership. Unfortunately, the early Indian leadership after the independence, led the country like a puppet of their western masters and even adopted, followed, and continued with the constitution and laws made by the Britishers. This bondage attitude of then leadership and the lack of any vision of developing the newly independent nation from the grass root level by creating a fair and equal system, led India to become one of the most underdeveloped countries in the world. The western media even coined a new term for the countries of Indian subcontinent as ‘third world countries’ to shame us.

Now with the change of government at centre, after a misrule of country by the oldest political party for over 55 years, the new government has changed the entire concept of governance. The nationalist government of Narendra Modi is a no-nonsense government that only means business. This is something very hard to digest for the authoritative western media as till now they created narratives about India and all Indians and rest of the world were supposed to believe them. These media houses and their bosses cannot come to terms that they cannot dictate or blackmail the Indian government anymore. Hence, they have started an all-out-propaganda war against India in connivance with likes of New York Times and Washington Post. A recent advertisement by The New York Times for recruiting new correspondents who are India and Modi haters should be an eye opener even for a blind. New York Times described India’s PM as the one who advocates “self-sufficient”, muscular nationalism, centred on Hindu majority. The pre-requisite to hire the new journalist was to be an India or Modi hater. This is not only a dangerous precedence but also exposes the anti-India forces’ s real face and their hypocrisy. The same people always cry about freedom of speech and free press. It is such a shame and disgrace that these publications may still find some sympathisers among Indians and for a few dollars these elements are happy to write false stories about India. Currently there is a big nexus of such thugs working in unison against India and this includes media houses like BBC, NYT, Washington Post, left leaning parties, all the anti-India forces across the globe, including Pakistan and China along with some opposition parties of India.

Some shameless corrupt Indian political parties are happy to talk bad about their own country and Congress party tops the list of such parties. I regularly keep mentioning in my write ups about how low the Indian politics has gone to. Most opposition parties in India are happy to talk and go against the country if it benefits them politically. The kind of statements these parties give against India are those you normally would get to hear from enemy countries. So, its high time for all Indians to come out from the deep slumber and give a tight slap on the faces of the detractors of the nation. It will be better if we do sooner than later. – Yugal Parashar
