The nation witnessed yet another shocking and shameful episode of chaos unleashed by India’s most irresponsible opposition to date, in an episode that surpassed even their own past records of lawlessness. Inside the very temple of democracy, parliamentary norms were trampled, proceedings were deliberately disrupted, and in an unprecedent attempt the Prime Minister was prevented from addressing the House. For the first time in independent India’s history, the opposition, led by Congress party, blocked the Prime Minister’s vote-of-thanks speech on the President’s Budget Address. The gravity of the situation deepened when Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla informed stunned Members of Parliament that he had received confirmed intelligence inputs of a planned physical attack on the Prime Minister, allegedly using female MPs as shields, along with a conspiracy to malign both the Prime Minister and the Home Minister should the government respond. A potentially catastrophic incident was averted only due to the Speaker’s vigilance and the timely intervention of security agencies.
This is the absolute rock-bottom level of desperation to which India’s opposition, especially Congress party has now stooped. It is not only shameful, pathetic, and condemnable; it is dangerous, corrosive, and deeply unsettling for the future of the nation. Their conduct forces every conscious citizen to ask a disturbing question: where exactly do these parties want to drag India? When the entire world stands in admiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, vision, and statesmanship, when global leaders and institutions openly acknowledge and applaud his futuristic thinking and decisive governance, his detractors at home, humiliated by repeated electoral defeats, have abandoned democratic competition altogether and embraced criminal conspiracies as their last resort. Even more alarming for common Indian and for India’s well-wishers across the globe is the shocking absence of a strong, decisive legal response against these conspirators. This inaction sends a dangerous signal, that those who conspire against the nation’s leadership can act with impunity. The opposition’s entire political existence now rests on a cynical “shoot-and-scoot” strategy: invent lies, spread misinformation, poison public discourse, and escape accountability. Having nothing substantive to say against the government’s performance, they manufacture false narratives and relentlessly peddle deceit to mislead the masses. Tragically, these lies are then magnified by an international anti-India media ecosystem that functions less like journalism and more like a propaganda arm for forces hostile to India’s rise.
Everyone knows who India’s enemy nations are and how relentlessly they work to undermine the country’s interests. What is becoming increasingly undeniable is that these forces have found their foot soldiers within India’s opposition ranks. United not by ideology or national interest but by a single obsessive hatred for Narendra Modi, they are willing to compromise India’s institutions, dignity, and security. As the world increasingly bows to Modi’s leadership and India’s growing stature, the jealousy, frustration, and rage of his domestic detractors only deepen, fuelling the reckless desperation that now defines their politics. The recent capitulation of the world’s self-styled policeman, Donald Trump, before Narendra Modi culminating in his decision to come to the negotiating table and agree to a trade deal with India despite repeated arm-twisting attempts stands as a clear testament to Modi’s resolve. All his tactics failed miserably against Modi. This global development landed like a tight slap on the face of Rahul Gandhi and Congress party, which explains the visible spike in their desperation and frustration.
It is time for the people of India to stand firmly with a staunchly nationalistic government and refuse to be swayed by the nonstop barrage of lies and falsehoods peddled by the opposition day and night. Their strategy is simple and sinister: repeat a thousand lies in the hope that at least one will stick and mislead the nation. If the opposition, especially Congress party ever succeeds in its ulterior motive of deceiving the Indian masses, country must brace itself for a return to the dark chapter of twelve years ago: an era marked by rampant corruption, lawlessness, unchecked terrorism, and a complete erosion of national dignity. Today, every Indian feels a renewed sense of pride in being Indian something rare, precious, and experienced collectively for the first time since independence.
