As India celebrates 77 years as a republic, it stands today as one of the most powerful and decisive nations in the world. India’s rise to global prominence is no accident; it is the direct result of the strong and visionary leadership of its current Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India is now the one country the world listens to. When conflicts erupt and tensions rise, rival factions across the globe turn to a single leader whose words carry authority and respect — Narendra Modi. Unlike others, including leaders of so-called superpowers whose erratic conduct has created global uncertainty in recent months, Prime Minister Modi commands trust, stability, and influence on the world stage.
My words will undoubtedly offend Modi’s critics, but truth has never been comfortable. The undeniable fact is that Narendra Modi is rapidly becoming the world’s go-to leader for resolving major global crises. At a time when the planet is drowning in endless wars, economic chaos, spiralling costs of living, and the dangerous rise of extremist ideologies, the world is desperate for leadership with spine, clarity, and absolute resolve. What it largely has instead is a collection of weak, confused, and indecisive leaders who have driven their nations into economic ruin and left their citizens struggling merely to survive. In this global mess, India stands tall as a rare exception. While much of the world is stagnating or collapsing, India continues to grow and assert itself with confidence. This is despite reckless tariffs, irrational pressures, and punitive policies imposed by a bully like Donald Trump. America still treats India as if it were frozen in the 1950s and 60s, hopelessly failing to comprehend how dramatically the country has transformed over the past 12 years under Narendra Modi’s leadership. Today’s India does not beg, obey, or take instructions from the so-called superpowers. It charts its own course, makes sovereign decisions, and acts solely in the interest of its people. Under Modi, India has shed its old hesitation and emerged as a self-confident nation that neither seeks approval nor fears confrontation and that is precisely why the world is finally being forced to listen.
There is another side to the above-mentioned positive aspect, and that is India’s dynastic political clans who, after Narendra Modi’s third consecutive victory, have become so desperate to seize power that they are willing to go to any lengths to achieve it. This desperation has taken an extremely ugly form, and the tactics being used to bring Narendra Modi down are so pathetic and shameful that these groups neither care about the country nor its people if they believe their objective can be fulfilled. Their actions are not only tarnishing the nation’s image but are also creating unrest and chaos across the country. Opposition-ruled states in India are behaving as if they are independent nations, openly challenging and disregarding the established rules and conventions of the Indian Constitution. Many parties and their leaders are conspiring against Narendra Modi and against the nation itself to fulfil their ambitions, though fortunately they have failed miserably in their sinister designs so far. India’s democracy and republic can survive only if these destructive forces fail, and they are aware of this, hence their desperation has reached its peak, pushing them to resort to the most reckless tactics to create confusion among Indian citizens.
Many global powers are relentlessly working to block India’s inevitable rise on the world stage. While America openly threatens India with harsh tariffs, other powers conspire with India’s enemies to create roadblocks and sabotage its progress. Time and again, even the smallest issues are blown out of proportion, and the paid foot soldiers of this hostile nexus amplify manufactured non-issues to divert global attention from India’s growth story. These forces are desperate to ensure that the world does not realize that India has advanced enough to emerge as a formidable challenger to these self-proclaimed developed nations. Unfortunately, this poisonous anti-India agenda finds willing allies among certain anti-national opposition parties within the country. India must remain extremely alert to this dangerous reality so that its growth trajectory is not weakened or derailed by internal sabotage and external conspiracies. -Yugal Parashar
