Bhartiya Samaj Charitable Trust successfully delivered its 23rd annual Summer Camp in 2026, continuing a long-standing community programme focused on children’s safety, wellbeing, and personal development.

The camp engaged over 100 children and offered a structured programme designed to support holistic development through education, health awareness, and physical activity. Over more than two decades, the initiative has become a consistent platform for preventative learning and community-led youth development.

This year’s programme featured a range of educational and skill-building workshops, including a Personality Development workshop led by Godrej Sir, Brainobrain sessions promoting mental agility and concentration, a Drowning Prevention and water safety workshop, and a community safety workshop delivered by New Zealand Police. Children also participated in dance, art and craft, sports, exercise, and nutrition sessions, reinforcing balanced lifestyle habits and creative expression.

A key component of the programme was an educational visit hosted by Pabla ji and his family from Drury Fresh Ltd, who opened their farm to the group. The visit provided practical exposure to agricultural operations and community enterprise, alongside organised hospitality.

Commenting on the milestone, Jeet Suchdev, Chairperson of Bhartiya Samaj, said:

“For 23 years, this programme has focused on building confidence, safety awareness, and life skills through consistent community-led engagement.”

The Summer Camp remains a flagship initiative of Bhartiya Samaj Charitable Trust, reflecting its sustained leadership in delivering youth-focused programmes that contribute to community wellbeing. -by Administrative Team, Bhartiya Samaj Charitable Trust
