Little faith can take you to heaven, but complete faith can bring heaven to you.”
These words, often associated with Siddheshwar Brahmrishi Siddhguruvar, capture the spiritual essence that draws millions of followers to his teachings. In March 2026, devotees across New Zealand will have the rare opportunity to witness his presence, as he is scheduled to visit Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch for a series of spiritual gatherings.
Siddheshwar Brahmrishi Siddhguruvar is widely revered among his followers as a divine spiritual guide whose life story is deeply rooted in devotion, discipline, and spiritual awakening. According to his devotees, his journey began under extraordinary circumstances. He was found as an infant near the Kailasagiri Temple in Andhra Pradesh, radiating an unusual aura that caught the attention of sages. He was later named Guruvanand by a saint who, as followers recount, recognized his spiritual destiny—to ease human suffering and illuminate the path toward inner peace.
His followers believe that from a very young age, he displayed remarkable spiritual abilities. By the age of twelve, he was said to have been able to recite sacred scriptures such as the Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Ramayana without formal instruction. Devotees attribute his early spiritual advancement to naturally awakened Kundalinis and fully activated chakras, which they say laid the foundation for his later growth as a spiritual leader.
Under the guidance of the renowned ascetic Devraha Baba, he is believed to have undergone deep yogic practices and penance in the Himalayas. His followers describe this period as one of intense spiritual refinement, during which he immersed himself in Vedic knowledge and developed heightened intuitive perception. Many believe he attained rare spiritual accomplishments, often referred to in ancient texts as Ashta Siddhis (eight spiritual attainments) and Nav Nidhis (nine treasures of divine wisdom). While such descriptions are rooted in faith and tradition, they reflect the profound reverence devotees hold for their teacher.
Siddhguruvar is also admired for his broad understanding of diverse religious philosophies. His discourses often draw from Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Christianity, and Islam, making his teachings accessible to people of different backgrounds. His followers appreciate his ability to simplify complex spiritual concepts, allowing individuals from all walks of life to engage with timeless wisdom. Many devotees believe his teachings and presence bring healing, clarity, and upliftment to those who seek spiritual guidance.
Over the years, Siddhguruvar’s mission has expanded globally. Through the World Spiritual Forum, he has reached audiences in more than 190 countries, advocating for peace, compassion, service, and unity beyond caste, creed, or religion. His followers believe he emphasises spirituality that harmonises faith with modern innovation, encouraging individuals to live responsibly, ethically, and with awareness of their karmic actions.
In March 2026, New Zealand will host three major events where devotees and newcomers alike will have the opportunity to hear his teachings and experience the collective energy of the gatherings. All events are free of cost, and attendees will be served Mahaprasad (dinner). Families, friends, and community groups are warmly encouraged to participate.
