Devotees across the globe are preparing to celebrate the 100th birthday of Bhagavan
Sri Sathya Sai Baba in November 2025, marking a century since the birth of one of the most influential spiritual figures of our time. Major events are planned in India, the United States, the United Kingdom, other Countries and New Zealand, uniting millions under the theme “Purity is Enlightenment.”
A Life of Love, Service and Universal Values
Sri Sathya Sai Baba was born on 23 November 1926 in the small village of Puttaparthi, southern India. From a young age, he displayed remarkable spiritual insight and compassion, dedicating his life to guiding humanity through his timeless teachings of Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love and Non-Violence.
His message transcended religion, race and nationality. Through the guiding
principles “Love All, Serve All” and “Help Ever, Hurt Never,” he encouraged people to live selflessly and harmoniously. Over the decades, he established free hospitals, schools, universities and drinking-water projects that continue to uplift millions
across India and around the world, regardless of faith or background.
New Zealand Celebration
New Zealand’s national centenary celebration will take place at Mt Eden Memorial Hall, 489 Dominion Road, Auckland, on Sunday 23 November 2025, from 3 pm to 6.15 pm.
The programme will feature devotional singing, inspiring talks, cultural performances and reflections on Sai Baba’s teachings, followed by a community dinner open to all.
Organisers say the event will highlight the core message of unity and selfless service that Sai Baba stood for.

A Worldwide Wave of Service
Sai Baba’s followers are marking the milestone with service activities in more than 100 countries—from feeding the homeless and planting trees to supporting hospitals and schools. Many of these projects will continue throughout 2025, embodying Sai Baba’s teaching that “Service to man is service to God.”
Global celebrations will also include online events and devotional programmes connecting communities across continents.
Birthday Logo

The specially designed logo for the 100th Birthday Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was chosen after detailed deliberations on the various options that were submitted. This logo, which is a humble and sincere attempt to capture the uniqueness of our dear Swami, has deep and multilayered meanings.
1. Appearing as the number ‘100’, where the numeral ‘1’ is made from Swami’s form, it is a clear indicator of the 100th Birthday of our dear Lord.
2. God is both sakara (with form) and nirakara (without form). The logo depicts both these with Swami’s beautiful form and the infinity symbol representing His formless aspect.
3. The Taittiriya Upanishad defines God as, “Sathyam Jnanam Anantham Brahma” (Brahman [God] is Truth, Knowledge, and Infinity). The logo is a graphical form of that same definition.
4. Bhagawan Baba says, “There is only One. That one is the Hero – God; all the rest – i.e. the entire world, is zero.” The logo amplifies this statement showing that with Swami by the side, the ‘zeroes’ become infinite.
5. The logo represents the infinite love, grace, wisdom, and glory of our dear Bhagawan.
