Bhandari questioned the motive of the Congress party behind “supporting” infiltrators, even as if the “Supreme Court has said in its ruling that supporting infiltrators is equal to external aggression.”
Speaking to ANI, Bhandari said, “The Congress party should answer why it is trying to destroy the Constitution of India. Why is the Congress party talking about giving Muslim reservations? The Congress party should answer why it is talking about giving cylinders to infiltrators. The Supreme Court has said in its ruling that supporting infiltrators is equal to external aggression. What is the Congress party trying to do today? The Congress party wants to change the demography of this country.”
Bhandari stated that such moves by Congress show that the NDA government is going to be formed in both Maharashtra and Jharkhand.
“I want to tell the Congress party that today you are going to the same Election Commission which you curse after every election and raise questions on the democratic system. All these moves of Congress are showing that Congress is desperate in Maharashtra and Jharkhand because no one wants to listen to Rahul Gandhi and no one wants to know Kharge Ji. That is why this move of Congress shows that the NDA government is going to be formed in both Maharashtra and Jharkhand,” he added.
Earlier today, BJP leader Anurag Thakur hit out at the opposition INDIA bloc and said that in order for Jharkhand to progress and become a developed state, it must rid itself of both — infiltrators and the political influence of the Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM).
The former Union Minister accused them of capturing the state’s resources — including water, land, and jobs — to the detriment of the local population.
“Infiltrators have captured water, forest and land and have also captured the jobs of the youth. If Jharkhand has to move forward towards development, then it has to be freed from infiltrators and Congress, RJD and JMM,” Thakur said.
Voting for the first phase of the Jharkhand assembly elections concluded, with voting taking place in 43 out of the state’s 81 seats. Elections on the remaining 38 seats will be conducted on November 20.
Voting for the Maharashtra’s 288-member assembly is scheduled to be held on November 20.
The counting in both states will be held on November 23.-ANI
