Sri VenkataNarasimha Kshetram NZ stands as a radiant spiritual landmark in Aotearoa New Zealand, offering devotees a sacred space rooted in ancient Vedic traditions while embracing the spiritual needs of a modern society. Established through the sincere efforts and collective devotion of dedicated devotees, the Kshetram has emerged as a beacon of Sanātana Dharma, nurturing faith, discipline, and inner growth across the region.
At present, the Kshetram is open to devotees with the presence of sacred Utsava Murthies, and daily worship is being conducted with reverence and strict adherence to Vedic customs. Regular pujas, archanas, and festivals are performed, creating an atmosphere of devotion and spiritual harmony. These ongoing rituals allow devotees to actively participate in worship and experience the living traditions of Hindu dharma in a deeply meaningful way.
By the divine grace of the Lord and the collective prayers of devotees, the consecration of the main deities (Moola Vigrahas) is scheduled to take place soon. The deities to be installed include Sri Venkateshwara, Sri Narasimha, Mahalakshmi, Panchamukhi Hanuman, Lord Ganesha, and the sacred Shiva Linga. Once consecrated, these divine forms will embody compassion, protection, wisdom, and grace, completing the Kshetram as a powerful spiritual sanctum for seekers from all walks of life.
The Kshetram is deeply committed to preserving and passing on Hindu culture and spiritual values to future generations. Alongside daily rituals and abhishekams, it actively promotes spiritual learning through shloka chanting sessions and yoga classes, fostering discipline, devotion, and inner balance. These initiatives aim to strengthen spiritual roots while guiding devotees toward a life of harmony and righteousness.
Beyond its role as a place of worship, Sri VenkataNarasimha Kshetram also serves as a vibrant centre for community connection and selfless service. It brings together devotees from diverse backgrounds for prayer, learning, and mutual support, standing as a pillar of faith during moments of joy as well as times of challenge. The Kshetram reflects the essence of dharma by encouraging unity, compassion, and resilience within the community.
The temple is open daily from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Shloka classes commence from 7 February and will be held every Saturday from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Enrollment forms can be obtained by contacting the temple office via email.
