Jaipur, Rajasthan: The Rajasthan government organized a Startup Conclave as part of Innovation Day celebrations at the Rajasthan International Center, where the Chief Minister of the state, Bhajanlal Sharma, was the chief guest. The event also saw the presence of Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Joga Ram Patel, and Chief Secretary V. Srinivas.

Bikaner-based startup “Eco Bharat” was selected as one of Rajasthan’s Top 10 startups and was honored by the Chief Minister. They were also awarded an incentive grant of ₹10 lakhs. Eco Bharat is making rapid strides across India in road safety initiatives. Due to its efforts, the Punjab and Haryana High Court mandated road safety measures across the state earlier this year. Currently, Eco Bharat is actively working in 26 states across the country, and various state governments have been encouraging the startup with their support.

Eco Bharat’s Founder and CEO, Sampat Saraswat Bamanwali, expressed his happiness at being honored by the Chief Minister and said, “This recognition from the state government will boost our morale and inspire us to work with even more energy and enthusiasm.”

Being selected as one of the Top 10 startups in the state will give Eco Bharat a new identity. Currently, 474 lives are lost every day in road accidents. According to the 201st Law Commission’s report, if treatment is provided within the first hour of an accident, 50% of lives can be saved. Through Eco Bharat’s smart QR stickers, family members can be contacted within minutes, and nearby ambulances and police stations can be alerted, all without revealing personal identities. This initiative is being widely accepted across India.

The Rajasthan government awarded a total of ₹10.79 crore in incentive grants to 333 startups, and the gesture has brought great joy to startup founders across the state.
