Narendra Modi is now in 12th year of his third term as Prime Minister of India, a fact that continues to unsettle many of his opponents, both within India and on the global stage. It is rare for a leader’s influence to grow to such an extent that they face opposition not only domestically but also internationally. Yet, Modi’s consistent popularity and strong approval ratings, only reinforce his status as one of the most prominent and admired leaders in the world today. What sets Modi apart is his unwavering commitment to India’s national interests; he has shown time and again that he will not bow to external pressures. This resolute stance frustrates the Indian opposition, who find themselves increasingly unable to sway public opinion. Despite their constant attempts to discredit him through misinformation, false narratives, and political manoeuvring, these efforts have largely failed to impress the public.
The electorate continues to support Modi, rendering the opposition’s tactics ineffective and leaving them at a loss in electoral battles.
This growing situation has pushed Modi’s opponents into a state of frenzy, prompting them to spin an alternate reality built entirely on false and baseless narratives. With the sole aim of tarnishing his image and discrediting his government, they now resort to fabricating new lies almost daily, assuming the Indian electorate is naïve enough to fall for them. In the past, they blamed their electoral losses on EVMs; now, they’ve shifted their target to the Election Commission. It’s just the latest addition to the long list of constitutional institutions they routinely attack, all to sow doubt and mistrust among the public about the credibility of India’s democratic framework. The opposition, led by the Congress party, has become so brazen that they seem to lie about everything, fully aware that speaking the truth would expose their own failures. Left with no constructive narrative, they’ve made deception their default strategy to mislead the people. This campaign of misinformation has now reached extreme levels, with wild and baseless stories being churned out in sheer desperation, hoping that something, anything, might finally stick.
The situation took a sharp turn for Narendra Modi on international front after India showcased its military prowess during Operation Sindoor, leaving global military powers, particularly the United States, stunned. The precision and impact of the Indian Armed Forces’ strike not only demonstrated India’s capabilities but also inadvertently struck American interests stationed in Pakistan. For the U.S., this wasn’t just a strategic shock, it was a blow to its long-standing perception of invincibility. Modi shattered that illusion. By executing a mission of such scale and accuracy, India exposed the hollowness of America’s self-assumed supremacy, delivering a message that the era of unilateral dominance is over. United States has for decades covertly supported and propped up India’s adversary Pakistan, hosting military assets and intelligence infrastructure there, found its own positions compromised during the operation. The accidental targeting of these sites with Indian ballistic missiles sent ripples through Washington, revealing vulnerabilities the U.S. never expected to show to the world. India, under Modi’s leadership, executed this operation with military precision and strategic boldness, leaving the so-called global superpower rattled and exposed.
Now, both internal and external forces, driven by desperation, are hell-bent on toppling the Modi government. They are throwing everything they have at Narendra Modi, using every possible trick to pressure him into submission and force him out of power. In a coordinated effort, they are sowing chaos, confusion, and mistrust by spreading lies about India’s constitutional institutions, aiming to weaken the very foundations of the country’s democracy. If there were even a shred of truth in their accusations against government agencies, they would have already submitted credible evidence under oath—to the Supreme Court or the Election Commission. But they haven’t, and they won’t, because they know their entire narrative is built on lies and fabrications. Doing so would not only expose them but could land them behind bars for their deceit. The nation must remain vigilant against these manipulative tactics. The same political machinery that has deceived the people for over 80 years is now resorting to dangerous theatrics hoping the public will once again fall for their drama. India cannot afford to be fooled again.
