The Sapta Jyotirlinga Yatra Bharat Gaurav tourist train witnessed a good response from tourists in and around Vijayawada.

124 Rail Yatris have boarded the Sapta Jyotirlinga Yatra Bharat Gaurav Train from Vijayawada Railway Station on Saturday.
The passengers were greeted with a traditional welcome and the whole station premises reverberated with spiritual fervour. This is the second Bharat Gaurav Train originating from Andhra Pradesh and the 23rd Bharat Gaurav from South Zone.
Vavilapalli. Rambabu, Senior Divsional Commercial Manager, Vijayawada Division, South Central Railway, flagged off Sapta Jyotirlinga Yatra Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train at Vijayawada railway station.
The train starting from Vijayawada railway station will cover famous Jyotirlinga destinations in the northern and western parts of the country while providing boarding and de-boarding facilities at seven important enroute stations in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra.
The boarding and deboarding facility is provided at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Dornakal, Mahbubabad, Kamareddi, Bhongir, Nizamabad, Dharmabad, Mudhked Nanded Purna in Telangana and Maharashtra states, respectively.
The train will cover important pilgrim places like Ujjain (Mahakaleswar & Omkareshwar), Dwaraka (Dwarakadish Temple and Nageshwar Jyotirlinga), Somnath, Nasik (Triambakeshwar), Pune (Bhima Shankar) and Aurangabad (Grishneswar Temple).
Adressing the media, Vavilapalli. Rambabu, senior divisional commercial manager (DCM), said that the Bharat Gaurav Express traversing across the revered cities of Jyotirlinga’s is a golden opportunity for pilgrims and devotees to visit all the sacred places in one go.
He also expressed immense joy and happiness for flagging off the second Bharat Gaurav Train.
Senior DCM stated that gauging the demand of devotees, more number of Sapta Jyotirlinga Darshan Yatra Specials shall be planned to facilitate the passengers.
Rambabu also highlighted that earlier trains that were operated from the zone have received huge patronage with the consistent 100 percent occupancy in almost all trains. Senior DCM presented gift hampers to passengers and wished them a memorable and safe journey.
Rambabu also took stock of catering arrangements, accommodation and safety measures undertaken by the officials. He congratulated the officials of IRCTC for making the best arrangements for the boarding devotees.-ANI
