  • Date : Tuesday, 15 October 2024
  • Time : 5.45 pm to 7.30 pm

Dr Guna Magesan, President of the Hindu Council of New Zealand, expressed his enthusiasm about the upcoming event: “We are excited to partner with the NZ Police to bring this seminar to Rotorua. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting the aspirations of our community members and promoting diversity within the New Zealand Police.”

“We previously organised a successful NZ Police recruitment seminar in October 2008 at the Hindu Heritage Centre in Auckland. We are now replicating several of these programmes in Rotorua to benefit the local community,” he added.

Senior Constable Lania Day, BOP NewCops Support for the NZ Police, added: “We are eager to connect with potential recruits from the Rotorua area and provide them with the information and support they need to consider a fulfilling career with the NZ Police. Diversity and inclusion are core values of our organisation, and we believe that events like this help us build a police force that truly represents the communities we serve.”

This seminar is free to attend, and all interested individuals are encouraged to participate. Whether you are considering a career change, just starting your career journey, or simply interested in learning more about the NZ Police, this event is a valuable opportunity to get informed and inspired.
