The collection paid tribute to India’s cultural legacy with intricate designs and luxurious fabrics, all skillfully created by master artisans from the Falguni Shane Peacock atelier and the dedicated weavers at Swadesh.
This collection celebrates the rich diversity and vivid hues defining our culture and tradition, drawing inspiration from India’s majestic symbols: resplendent parrots and peacocks, serene swans, powerful horses and elephants, magnificent tigers, mystical palaces, traditional diyas, the melodious sitar, the sacred banyan tree and peepal leaf, expressive mudras, fragrant roses, the spiritual conch, revered cows, intricate paisleys and Kashmiri thread work, the unparalleled Taj Mahal, and sparkling diamonds.
The event was more than just a fashion show; it was a sensory feast that began with a
contemporary dance and sitara performance themed in lilac.
The evening was enlivened by a live concert featuring contemporary renditions of popular Bollywood hits, adding a dynamic musical element to the runway experience.-ANI
