Every time I meet him, I get new energy and his guidance. Today I got the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi with my family. My wife, Amrita and daughter, Divya, were with me. I am very grateful to Prime Minister Modi for giving me his valuable time!”
Earlier, Devendra Fadnavis slammed the opposition and alleged that it was deliberately spreading misinformation about the ‘Agniveer Scheme’.
“Under the Agniveer scheme, the government has successfully inducted young blood into the armed forces,” Fadnavis told reporters.
“If the average age of our Army is higher than that of other armies around the world, we may face problems during war. Keeping this in mind, the Agnipath scheme was initiated,” he added.
The Deputy Chief Minister emphasised that Agniveers should be respected and should not face any issues in the future.
“Agniveers should be respected and provided with all kinds of facilities, ensuring they do not encounter any problems in the future. All these provisions are included in the scheme, but the opposition deliberately spreads confusion,” he reiterated.
He also referenced Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech on Kargil Vijay Diwas, criticising the opposition for questioning the Agnipath Scheme.
“Prime Minister Modi commented on the opposition’s actions, which are, in a way, jeopardising national security,” Fadnavis said.-ANI
