Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha urged the cadets of the Special National Integration camp of NCC to work together towards building a strong and united nation.
The Special National Integration camp of NCC was attended by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at JKLI Centre Rangreth Srinagar. This camp, which was organized as part of the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative, saw the coming together of 250 NCC cadets from 17 NCC Directorates across India.
The camp was aimed at promoting national integration and fostering unity among the youth of the country. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressed the cadets and emphasized the importance of harmony and solidarity among all states and regions of India. He urged the cadets to work together towards building a strong and united nation, as per the press release.
Taking to their official X handle, the Office of Lt. Governor of Jammu and Kashmir quoted Manoj Sinha and posted, “Addressed NCC cadets while attending Special National Integration Camp at Srinagar. This special camp promotes the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ and has brought together cadets from 17 directorates of the country to foster common values of patriotism, integrity and selfless service.”
In another tweet, it said, “The activities at the camp truly symbolize the spirit of unity in diversity. NCC has always served society with commitment, efficiency and complete dedication in accordance with its motto “Unity and Discipline” and has made immense contributions to nation-building.”
The camp included various activities exchanges, and community service. The cadets showed cultural performances showcasing the diversity and richness of India’s heritage.
This Special National Integration camp was a great success in promoting the ideals of unity in diversity and instilling a sense of national pride among the young participants. The camp served as a platform for fostering friendships and understanding among cadets from different parts of the country, ultimately contributing to the vision of a ‘Shreshtha Bharat’.-ANI
