Dance Party at Healthy Bites restaurant in Sandrigham. The event was a big success, filled with delicious food, lively dancing, and lots of fun.
The day started with an energetic dance session that got everyone in a joyful mood. Attendees enjoyed a variety of tasty dishes provided by Healthy Bites, who made sure everyone felt welcomed and well-cared for.
The event was not just about fun. Jyoti Parashar made an important announcement on behalf of the Sakhi group. Sakhi is partnering with DISHA NZ to create area-based programs. These programs will help women connect with others in their neighbourhood, make new friends, and support each other.
These area-based groups by DISHA NZ and Sakhi will further enhance the support for ladies in the community. The goal is to organize activities that help women feel they belong and have companionship. By working together, Sakhi and DISHA NZ aim to create a friendly and supportive environment for all women.
“This initiative is all about fostering community spirit and making sure every woman feels connected and supported,” said Priya Ramrakhiani. “By knowing our neighbours and working together, we can create a stronger community.”

The Sakhi Chit Chat and Dance Party showed the spirit of togetherness that these programs want to build. As the day ended, everyone left with smiles and excitement for future events.
