While addressing an election rally in Begumganj, Yadav said, “The public gave the vote to PM Narendra Modi for national security and good governance. When our soldiers were continuously attacked at the borders and killed, the then government used to raise hands and say what should we do, this is all done by Pakistan.”
“It was then that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government came to power and PM Modi said that ‘Pakistan will have to pay a huge price,’ and for the first time, it so happened that the Prime Minister of the country delivered to his words and the Balakot airstrikes were carried out in Pakistan, in retaliation to the February 14 Pulwama attack,” he said.
Adding ahead, Yadav said, “We all witnessed how the country retaliated to Pakistan, all under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi who delivered to his promises and glorified the democracy.”
“Humne sabne dekha, Pakistan ko danke ki chot par pakistan ko ghar mai ghuskar, do do baar vaar karke dikhaya hai. Ye hota hai chappan inch ke seene wala aur loktantra ko gaurvanit karne wala neta,” Yadav said.
The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister participated in the election rally in Begumganj to support former MP CM and BJP candidate from Vidisha Lok Sabha seat, Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Speaking to the media after the rally, Yadav said, “The public is filled with enthusiasm. Vidisha is a place where big leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpai have made their place. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has been an MP for five times from Vidisha Lok Sabha seat. We will register a great win here.”
Former Madhya Pradesh CM and BJP candidate from Vidisha Lok Sabha seat Shivraj Singh Chouhan also spoke on the occasion and asserted that no one can stop India from becoming ‘Vishwaguru’ under PM Modi’s leadership.
“If there is someone who is the most popular leader, he is PM Narendra Modi. Under his leadership, no one can stop India from becoming ‘Vishwaguru’. Who will be Congress’ PM candidate? India will move forward with Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister,” he said.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan is contesting from Vidisha and Durgadas Uikey is contesting from the Betul Lok Sabha seat.
Betul and Vidisha will go to the polls in the third phase on May 7 with seven other parliamentary seats in the state.
Uikey is a sitting MP from the Betul parliamentary seat who is contesting again from the seat.
On the other hand, Chouhan has been MP from Vidisha constituency five times before becoming the chief minister of the state. Now, Chouhan is contesting for the sixth time from the Vidisha constituency in the LS polls 2024.
