From darkness to the era of enlightenment!
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Darkness precedes the light in the material world. In every great story that was ever told the evil rises to be destroyed for light to shine again. The cycles and stories are what encourage hope, faith and determination of the new idealists and heroes that become shining stars for the future. The darkness is needed to shine. The trials and tribulations raise us to new heights. The sacrifice is the most telling story of character of great heroes that rise to great victories.
The rise of modern India or should we say Bharat is a similar telling story. The broken country rebuilt itself on the Economic front. This newfound pride under newfound leaders has been Evolutionary and a source of admiration worldwide. But the most valuable jewellery has remained hidden. The priceless jewel was one that no invader sought, and set could make them richer Tham any. The one that runs in the veins of every Indian. It’s culture and its values.
Through the knowledge, discipline, and generosity the Indians inspire people world over. Their own inspiration comes from Sri Ram. And now this inspiration and love has won Lord Ram. What else could be the reason for the Victory of the Devotees of Lord Ram after 500 years? The new India is a united India that is proud of its history. The growing global interest in the Sanatan or Eternal religion has added beautiful colours and Flavors to their world and that of Bharat.
Lord Ram is the greatest of heroes and the greatest of Kings not for valour in battle or great wisdom but his act of sacrifice for the greater good. This is why he is called greatest of men or Purushottam, a quality admired in a Kings and rulers or the ages that were. His own steadfastness through the Highs and lows inspire everyone to follow Dharma or righteousness.
“O son of Kunti, the no permanent appearance of happiness and distress, and their disappearance in due course, are like the appearance and disappearance of winter and summer seasons. They arise from sense perception, O scion of Bharata, and one must learn to tolerate them without being disturbed.”- Krishna (Bhagvad Gita 2.14)
If everyone can light a lamp of love and compassion in their own hearts the world will be a brighter place to live in. The time to be the change we wish to see is always in the present moment. And each moment of the great devotees and teachers dedicated to Lord Ram’s service has added to lead the young population thus far. The Grand Ayodhya Temple for Lord Ram. Now it’s for the future generations to keep the Flag flying High in the mood of Devotees of Lord Ram.
“One who sees the Super soul equally present everywhere, in every living being, does not degrade himself by his mind. Thus, he approaches the transcendental destination.”- Krishna (Bhagavad Gita 13.29)
This humble attitude of service is what makes Lord Ram. Ram meaning one who gives pleasure to others. That should be the nature of the Devotees of Lord Ram. When we see God in everyone, we are able to offer love and compassion and change the world one person at a time, that grows to family and them so on.
On 22 January, please light the lamp of this knowledge in your hearts and light a lamp in your house to pray and honour the arrival of New Higher consciousness in the world. -Chanderhas Kumar, is an Auckland based spiritual columnist and writer.
