National Party’s Manurewa electorate list candidate Siva Kilari’s campaign for the forthcoming elections is slowly gathering momentum. National Party organised a public meeting at the Netball Manurewa Events Centre on Saturday 15th July which attracted over 1000 people to listen to him and the National Party leader Christopher Luxon.

The focus of the address by the National Party leader and Siva Kilari was the party’s election tagline ‘Get NZ Back On Track’. Both Siva and Christopher Luxon attacked Labour government accusing it of failing on every front and making the lives of every New Zealander miserable. Siva pointed out the major issues that are affecting common New Zealander today and he said we all are here today because something isn’t right with our country. He said things have fallen apart during this government and the country has gone off the track. Siva further said there is only one man who can bring New Zealand back on track and that is National leader Christopher Luxon.

Praising Luxon, Siva further said Luxon is not a politician, he’s not a show off, he is not someone who makes big announcements or unrealistic headlines. He is a hard worker, who just wants to get the job done and help all New Zealanders achieve their goals and dreams! Siva said people tell him every day about how they can’t buy uniforms, or cereal or warm clothes because they just don’t have enough money. Rents have gone up, power bills have gone up, groceries have gone up and petrol has gone way up! People are choosing between feeding their families or hearing their home. They are choosing between putting gas in the car and getting vegetables. They are crying out every day for help, for relief, for some way to put the prices down a bit so they can breathe again but instead, everything just keeps going up.

An emotional Siva said a lot of times it’s so heartbreaking to hear all these stories as many have given up on their dreams. Most have abandoned their hopes and aspirations and they now just want to stay alive; they just want to survive. They say that they don’t care about being successful anymore. They just look to the next $20 or $30 to keep them going for another day. It is so sad to hear, and it makes me so angry because we know that a lot of this pain and suffering has been made worse and is because of this Labour government not doing their job to spend the money wisely and to make the right infrastructure. They have left criminals to do what they want while the good citizens are crying for help.

Siva said he tells people of Manurewa and south Auckland that Chris Luxon is coming, and he is going to fix the government. He is going to fix the broken system and he will put criminals in their place and will grow the economy. He said National is going to make sure everyone gets more money in their pockets. National will build better roads and transportation and provide a world class education and health system.

Siva said this all will happen only when National Party comes to government so the Kiwis can breathe and dream again. Kiwis will not just think of surviving, but they will be thriving again.
