Today, 19th November Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is being released at this luxurious cinema by none other than Forum Films.
Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari and Laxmii are the first two Bollywood films to debut at The Library boutique cinemas at New Market, Auckland.
The film is set in the 90s. Mangal (Manoj Bajpayee) is a wedding detective, who does a background check of grooms, which was a norm during those times. There was a time when there were no mobile phone or social media and people had to deal with everything physically. This gives rise to comical situations.
It points towards the rashi (zodiac sign), kundali (horoscope), that were more talk about more during wedding during those days. At the same time, it is about the cat and mouse comical relation between Suraj, which is played by Diljit and Mangal, essayed by Manoj Vajpayee.
Directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Zee Studios this movie sounds like a roller coster ride with loads of comedy and drama. Anyone of that generation and culture would be able to relate with this latest release.
