It was a bumper weekend at the Hare Krishna Auckland (ISKCON) premises in Kumeu, with the Hare Krishna Annual Food Festival on January 25, and the annual Krishna Holi the next day. Both events were well-attended, as noted by the organisation in separate Facebook posts later. “Up to 4,000 people joined us here at New Varshan farm today for our annual food festival….Over 12,000 people turn out for a wonderful day at this years Krishna Holi Festival 2020.”
We present below a summary of the festivities, as the holi season starts in New Zealand, with many more such events planned across the country in the coming month.
