Auckland-based Maa Shakti Charitable Trust organised a lohri mela on January 11, which included cultural performances, Bollywood songs, bhangra, martial arts performances, live DJ and bonfire. There were food stalls, stalls selling traditional Indian clothes, and fun rides for children.
