Kiwi-Indian pride and an awesome footballer, Sarpreet Singh, who has been among the reserve players at the German football giant Bayern Munich till now, has been promoted to train with the club’s first team until the winter break.
Bayern’s head coach, Hansi Flick, announced this at a press conference in Düsseldorf, Germany, ahead of his team’s away game. “We’re convinced these [three other reserve players along with Singh have been selected] talents must train with the best to improve. And they have ideal conditions if they train with our pros,” he said.
Notably, 20-year-old Singh has made 11 third-league appearances for the reserves so far, scoring five goals and assisting another four.
