Woman Care Trust turned 5 on Sunday, November 3rd 2019 and to celebrate its 5th anniversary, WCT organised an event with more than 250 members of the organisation. It was attended by a large gathering of ladies belonging to different ethnic backgrounds, cultures and age groups.

Baljit Kaur Dheil who is the driving force behind this non-profit organisations has been instrumental in empowering and helping women by providing free advice and support on health, education, counselling services, mediation for family conflict, women wellbeing, community development and creating social network through cultural events.

The programme began with a Religious Prayer (Sukhmani Sahib Ji path), kirtan and followed by langar (lunch). A video portrayed the journey of WCT showing how these five years have impacted the lives of women in a positive way. There were some outstanding performances of WCT Bhangra team, Gidha (golden girls) and Bollywood team dance showcasing Indian culture performed by senior ladies & girls of the organisation.
